Choosing the right DJ isn’t about finding someone with the biggest music library or the flashiest light show. It’s about finding someone who hears you, understands you, and can translate your relationship’s energy into a night that feels beautifully, undeniably yours.
Here’s who I work best with:
You’re my people if…
You want a celebration that feels elevated, warm, and intentional; never cheesy, scripted, or forced.
Music matters to you. Not as background noise, but as the emotional engine of the day.
You care more about the energy of the night than sticking to outdated traditions.
You want a DJ who mixes live, reads the room, and builds a dance floor story that actually makes sense.
You value professionalism, kindness, emotional intelligence, and someone who can collaborate smoothly with planners, photographers, and venues.
You want a soundtrack that feels curated, not copied-and-pasted.
You want your guests to leave saying: “That felt like THEM.”
You’re probably not my people if…
You want line dances, gimmicks, or a DJ who steals the spotlight and narrates the night like a game show host.
You’re shopping for the lowest bidder or comparing “hours included” instead of quality and presence.
You prefer a predictable, one-size-fits-all wedding structure over natural flow and party energy.
You want a DJ who “just presses play.” (No judgment...that’s just not my lane.)
If you’re still here, we’re off to a great start.
Frequently Asked Questions
How would you describe your style and approach? Think: modern, intentional, and people-focused. My job is to amplify your story, not become the star of my own show. I keep announcements clean and natural, mix music dynamically, and guide the flow without ever taking over. I treat every event like a personalized, live-mixed soundtrack designed around the two of you and the people you love.
How does the music selection process work? Once we’re working together, you’ll get access to my planning tools where you can share must-plays, do-not-plays, ceremony cues, cocktail hour vibes, and anything else that matters. You can be as hands-on or hands-off as you like. A few meaningful songs or adjectives are often enough for me to build the entire night.
What does your setup look like? Clean. Modern. Photo-friendly. No clutter, no glowing plastic cubes, no bargain-bin disco lights. My entire aesthetic is designed to blend into your venue and elevate your photos, not distract from them.
Do you offer lighting? Indeed, I do. -Thoughtfully curated lighting that feels elegant, not chaotic:
Warm uplighting
Color wash dance lighting
Ceiling texture washes
Modern monogram projections
Everything is designed around atmosphere and guest comfort. No harsh lasers. No middle-school dance vibes. We want everyone to look great in your photos...without being covered in red dots looking like they're about to be sniped.
Can you handle ceremony and cocktail hour? Absolutely. Ceremony audio includes discreet wireless microphones and carefully timed music transitions. Cocktail hour can be indoors or outdoors, and I bring all necessary equipment to cover secondary locations.
How much does it cost to work with you? Most 2026 couples invest between $5,500–$7,000 for ceremony + reception coverage. Travel and lodging may apply depending on location. Every event is unique. I create proposals based on your venue, timeline, and production needs. Multi-day events, after-parties, photo booth options, and specialty effects are available as enhancements.
Do you travel? Yes! I travel throughout New England and selectively beyond for destination events. Depending on the location and event ;;, I require overnight lodging for safety and logistics.
Do you take requests? Yes...but I only play them when it aligns with your vibe and keeps the dance floor moving. Requests are filtered thoughtfully so the energy never gets derailed.
How do we book you? Once we confirm your date, I’ll send a proposal and agreement. A retainer is required at signing, and we schedule the remaining payments leading up to your wedding. Everything is handled online, securely, and stress-free.
What happens if you get sick? In 15+ years, I’ve NEVER missed a wedding. If something truly urgent ever happened, I have a vetted network of professional DJs I trust with my reputation. I would personally handle all arrangements so you’re never left scrambling.
Are you LGBTQ+ friendly? Absolutely. -And wholeheartedly. Every couple deserves a celebration that reflects who they are.
How many weddings do you take each year? I intentionally limit myself to 30 weddings per year so I can give every couple the attention, emotional energy, and curated experience they deserve.
If you’re looking for a DJ who brings intention, artistry, and heart...and who also sees your celebration as far more than just a playlist, I’d love to connect. Let’s start shaping the soundtrack of your night.
